Pro4all expands towards the Nordics with the acquisition of Byggeprojekt

Pro4all (developer of Prostream, Snagstream, and Docstream) has acquired Byggeprojekt, a Copenhagen-based construction software company. This marks the second major acquisition since Pro4all partnered with Main Capital Partners in April 2022, following the March 2023 acquisition of Munich-based PMG.

Byggeprojekt, established in 2015, provides SaaS solutions for construction and real estate firms across the Nordics, serving over 300 companies with capabilities in project collaboration, planning, document management, and quality assurance.

Building a leading European software group

The combined entity will serve approximately 1,500 construction and real estate stakeholders across Benelux, DACH, and Nordic regions. Both organizations identified opportunities to create "a strong and unique combined product proposition" to digitize construction processes amid rising costs and interest rates.

Thomas Bøgh, CEO and Founder of Byggeprojekt, stated: "Pro4all is an excellent strategic and cultural match. We share similar cultures and ambitions to help construction stakeholders globally. Pro4all's quality assurance solution aligns with customer needs."

Dick van der Woude, CEO of Pro4all, commented: "Customer and partner feedback was unanimously positive. Joining forces will significantly accelerate both companies' growth and product innovation."

Sjoerd Aarts, Managing Partner at Main Capital Partners, noted: "We combine two organizations renowned for construction software expertise, creating a strong foundation for European expansion."

What happens now?

Pro4all will maintain normal operations. Behind the scenes, teams are developing joint projects for synergy. The acquisition expands European market access while Pro4all remains responsible for the Benelux region, with enhanced cross-company collaboration and knowledge sharing.
