Pro4all enters into partnership with Main Capital Partners

28 April 2022: Pro4all announces today that Main Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in the company. Main Capital Partners is a leading investor with 20 years of experience in strengthening software companies. The investor works closely together with the management teams of its portfolio companies. The partnership with Main is an important choice within the growth strategy of Pro4all, which aims to become a leading European construction software player.

Pro4all, based in Woerden, has been active in the construction industry for over 20 years. The company develops software (Docstream, Snagstream and Prostream) that facilitates the construction process, improves the cooperation between the parties involved and thus reduces failure costs while at the same time increasing quality. Pro4all offers a wide range of solutions for managing and controlling documents, 3D modelling, planning and quality assurance throughout the entire construction process. The solutions include practical functions such as version control of construction drawings on the building site plus also innovative ways of handling building information models (BIM).

Pro4all delivers its software to some 850 customers, including more than half of the Cobouw50, the largest construction companies in the Netherlands. More than 85,000 construction professionals use the software every day. Thanks to a strong technological basis and in-depth professional knowledge, Pro4all is well positioned to respond to the increasing demand for efficiency and quality, which is illustrated by the upcoming Quality Assurance Act for Construction (the Dutch "Wet kwaliteitsborging voor het bouwen"). The company distinguishes itself in the market through continuous product innovation, which is driven by the intensive cooperation with its customers.

Growth and innovation are key

Supported by the expertise of Main in the European software market, Pro4all can further develop its product portfolio and therefore deliver more added value to customers. In addition, Pro4all and Main will jointly aim at realizing a national as well as an international growth acceleration. The growth strategy will include international roll-out of its products, strategic add-on acquisitions aimed at geographical expansion and deepening and broadening of the product range.

Dick van der Woude, Director of Pro4all: "We are looking forward to join forces with Main and to jointly develop Pro4all into a leading European construction software player. With the knowledge and international experience of Main, in combination with our technical and commercial expertise, we are excellently positioned to realise the ambitious growth plans and further professionalisation of our company."

Sjoerd Aarts, Senior Investment Manager at Main Capital Partners: "The construction industry is a market where margins are increasingly under pressure, but where there are still many opportunities. Pro4all is active with high quality software solutions to support quality assurance in construction processes. Processes are optimised as a result, which reduces cost pressure. With the expected introduction of the Quality Assurance Act (Wkb), quality assurance will become increasingly important in the building process. In addition, we expect the construction sector to experience strong growth in the coming years, partly driven by the acute housing shortage. Pro4all has a strong and experienced management team and we are delighted to assist them as a strategic partner in their further national and international growth."
